HAPPY NATIONAL RUNNING DAY!!!
I will be joining the rest of the BGR Nation and Runners across the country for National Running Day by getting out and hitting the pavement! NRD came at the perfect timing! I just started my two-a-day challenge which involves running — where I run/jog in the mornings (at least 3 miles) and resume with my regular workout schedule in the evenings — which includes high intensity cardio and/or strength training. It’s a 28-day challenge. I had a great start last week where I ran 5.08 miles on my first day of my challenge run and pushed myself Monday to 5.41 miles so I’m way ahead of the game. I’m on Day 5, with 18.48 miles already completed. So hopefully after this morning’s run, I’ll be closer to my weekly goal and one step closer to my challenge goal of 48 miles in 28 days!
